Salmon à l' Orange

This easy salmon à l’ orange recipe was sent to us by our Oro de Genave Extra Virgin Organic olive oil supplier, with just 4 ingredients, it is the ideal recipe to make for a week night dinner as it does not require much prep and cooking time.

A recipe that brings you the goodness of Salmon: great source of protein, rich in B Vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids (to protect your vision). Salmon is also an excellent source of selenium: a mineral that works as antioxidant in your body. 

The onion in the recipe will help your body makes healthy new cells due to its folic acid,  onion is also rich in minerals and antioxidants. As for their vitamin C content, onions and the juice of the orange have lots of it, vitamin C is needed for the building and maintenance of collagen, which provides structure to skin and hair.

Easy Salmon à l’orange Dinner

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in the pan and fry the salmon until golden and set aside.
  2. In the same saucepan, add the onion chopped, a pinch of salt and the dill, sauté few minutes.
  3. Add the orange juice and let it reduce for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add the salmon again to the saucepan
  5. Cook for 5 minutes and it is ready to serve
